Humbled by AWARDS! 2012

I began Posting in May of this year with no concept of how rewarding blogging could be. The support has been amazing beyond words. Along the way I have met so many like-minded, supportive individuals – too numerous to count!

This is from Penny – FREE to be taken by anyone. I almost forgot it…

When I first signed up with WordPress I followed every one who followed me – I am up to +500 followers at the moment with 18,316 views.  

The most views I received was on a post I wrote about Peace. That warms my heart more than any award can. The second was a post titled Words that Changed the World. This tells me that  1. I am posting what others need and are interested in reading and 2. To be found so many times through key words such as Peace and Change the World means that the Internet is doing a wonderful job of uniting causes and those who believe in a better day.

Two posts get continual traffic every single day! One is about Gypsy Tattoos and the other about artist Frida Kahlo de Rivera, so much so that I had considered writing much more on these two subjects – my mind heading to book sales instead of writing in my own voice and what I *need* to write – for shame on me

Now the DRUM ROLL … I have not been able to find all of the Awards and I feel really bad about that, so if I am amiss, please forgive me!! I am totally HUMBLED and HONOURED by these awards…

I absolutely know with certainty there are more. One was from Penny (y’all know Penny right?) and one from Len (y’all know Len right?) and some more. The POINT is I have found myself surrounded with LOVE and SUPPORT and recognition. And afterall isn’t that what most humans aspire to feel in life? Unless someone has experienced this, it is very difficult to comprehend. I know I wouldn’t have without the wonderful experience of interacting with my dear friends here in the world of blogs.

Rather than list a bunch of people and bestow awards I will prepare a BlogRoll Page with my own descriptions of the terrific people I have encountered over the past seven months.
