Amateur is an understatement when it come to me and my ability to take a great photo but I did find two favourites which coincidentally have the same theme. Toys and nostalgia!
This is my tiny collection of childhood dolls where because of the size of them, I thought it best to wrap them up and keep forever :), my chakra wand which is a prized possession, as I love stones and their magic and an antique plaster dog which wisely reads – Let sleeping Dogs lie. Rather than the quality of the photo – I like the composition.
This bear to those who are not familiar is a Hudson Bay Company (now called The Bay, it is the oldest retail company in Canada) product distinguishable by the colours on his scarf.

This is so sweet! My Grandma Rhea used to make Raggedy Ann dolls, but I haven’t seen one in years. Thank you for sharing this part of your story.

Lost art of teddy bears and Raggedy Ann dolls being hand made made now. It is a select few and they charge through the roof! You’re welcome of course. Happy to bring great memories to you.

That is quite a lovely collection of childhood dolls. I particularly like the one standing behind to the right, which looks like wearing some kind of a traditional costume. Maybe an Inuit or similar? I have to admit not much have survived my childhood…

Hi, Those are my captured ones and only because they are small did they have the honour of missing my numerous purgings over the years.
I was thinking that the one on the right may have been of Finnish decent because the Inuit are traditionally more swat in stature, with black eyes and fur hooded parkas but I don’t know the origin as it was picked up by my father at a yard sale about 40+ years ago 🙂
